Life came full circle with the Bryson’s having worked for them first in 2012 at the beginning of motherhood, and again recently as my kids grow older and become more independent each day. Their family values and deep-rooted faith is what brought me back, and I am grateful to be part of the work environment they worked so hard to create over the years.
I first worked for the Bryson’s in 2012. I was newly expecting and married under a year at the time, and I honestly wasn’t expecting anyone to hire me knowing maternity leave would be in the near future, but they did and I was welcomed with open arms. I did choose to work part-time while my babies were small. As a newly single mother of two, and now that my babies are older, life came full circle with the Bryson’s as I was graciously welcomed back to a full-time role. I have an Associate’s in Accounting and right under 25 years of experience in various accounting roles. My parents are self-employed small business owner’s, so I grew up in business, and I have a very deep connection to small businesses with a special understanding of their day-to-day lives full of triumphs and struggles. I have also worked decades in public accounting, and I have held various accounting roles within private companies as well. The majority of my recent work has been through self-employment handling a book of business managing all client accounting functions, marketing, employee management/training, licensing renewals, benefits coordinator, consulting on various projects, state or federal agency correspondence, and more.
I am a small town girl at heart and was raised on a small farm by two wonderful parents. On my off time, I enjoy being in my yard in my garden and flowerbeds. I try to remain committed to the gym, and of course to my faith. I have two beautiful children. My daughter is a 4.0 student and plays softball competitively, along with volleyball, soccer, discus, javelin, shot put, relay for track, and tennis through school. She is also a member of Beta and is part of student council. My daughter is smart and determined and has more self discipline than I could ever wish for. My son is an Honor Roll student. He plays tackle football, soccer, basketball, and will be able to join the track and golf team this year at school. He is a big kid at 5’4” wearing a size 11 men’s shoe at 10 years old, but has a heart of kindness just as big. I also have four pets. My precious indoor blue point Siamese, Blue, and lynx point Siamese Beau Jacques. I have one fluffy kitty outside, Meow-Meow, and one outside small dog, Coco. We live full lives and are so blessed.
