Nick Smith is a Tax Resolution Attorney at Bryson Law Firm. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Nick earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Before joining Bryson Law Firm, Nick was a tax controversy attorney at a national accounting and advisory firm, where he assisted individuals and businesses with IRS examination, appeals, collections matters, employment tax disputes, and state tax controversies. He later practiced trust and estates at a regional law firm, advising clients on estate planning and federal estate, gift, and generation skipping transfer tax matters.

Nick's background allows him to approach tax issues with an understanding of both the underlying tax law as well as the practical financial challenges facing his clients. He currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Outside of work, Nick enjoys skiing, camping, and spending time with his family.
