Attorney
I understand that having tax problems with their state or the IRS incredibly stressful and likely one of the most important things happening at that time for every client and I joined Bryson because I recognized Bryson Law Firm’s similar recognition and deep desire to help our clients not only through their tax issues as smoothly as possible, but to help clients understand what went wrong and empower clients to avoid similar mistakes in the future.

Michael Magnaghi was born and raised just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Seeking a break form the long, cold Northeast winters, Michael moved to Florida for college and graduated from Florida State University with an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a newly developed understanding of big time college sports. Michael earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law (now Loyola University New Orleans College of Law) where he was a member of the Law Clinic and provided Pro Bono legal representation for members of the New Orleans community whom he was grateful to serve.

Michael started his legal career working in insurance litigation representing both individuals and insurance companies and later pivoted to Tax Controversy and Tax Resolution Law. Michael has represented individual and business clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the Louisiana Department of Revenue, as well as the taxing authorities of almost every other state and commonwealth in the country.

Michael lives in Jacksonville, Florida and in his free time enjoys going to the beach with his wife and their three sons along with watching as many Boston Red Sox games as he is able.
