Joseph is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, graduating from St. Thomas More Catholic High School in 2010. Joseph took an unconventional route through college, engaging in seminary studies for the Roman Catholic Priesthood until 2018, when he returned home to pursue an alternative career. In seminary, Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy and a Master of Philosophy from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., as well as a Bachelor of Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, Italy. Joseph then went to law school, graduating in 2022 from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center with a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. While in law school, Joseph worked as an extern for Judge William Stickman, IV, of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, as well as Judge S. Kyle Duncan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Joseph has since returned home to Lafayette, where he lives with his wife, Katherine, and his dog, Leon. In his free time, Joseph enjoys cooking, running, golfing, playing hockey, and watching college sports.
