I have some great news if you missed your 60-day deadline for appealing the denial of their solar tax panel credit by the Louisiana Department of Revenue -- you may have a second chance to contest the denial!!!!Why?
Because it looks like LDR has issued a second batch of denial letters to taxpayers – this time via certified mail. This second denial letter gives a new 60-day time period for appealing the denial to the Board of Tax Appeals (the BTA).
If you missed your appeal date, you may want to be on the lookout for a new certified letter from LDR! Be sure to accept delivery and open the letter ASAP because the 60-day time period runs from the date of the letter; not receipt!
