Business Solutions Accountant
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Description: A Bryson Business Solutions Accountant gathers detailed information from our accounting and tax clients in a diligent and customer-service oriented manner. The Business Solutions Accountant performs the bookkeeping data entry and reconciliation of accounts accurately and completely for our clients. In addition, this position also assists with Payroll Tax & Sales Tax efforts and prepares the annual Income Tax returns relevant to all bookkeeping clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform the data entry and reconciliation of accounts for our clients in QuickBooks in an accurate, complete, and timely manner
- Process payroll, setting up payroll deposits, and filing payroll tax returns for BATS clients in an accurate, complete, and timely manner
- Assist in complete writeup services (income/expense summary) for BATS clients in an accurate, complete, and timely manner
- Prepare the relevant income tax returns associated with bookkeeping clients
- Communicate with each client periodically to obtain all applicable information, provide monthly/periodic updates, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with all services being performed
- Some administrative tasks are required. These include but are not limited to preparing, modifying, and processing documents, forms, reports, memos, and other correspondence such as IRS Powers of Attorney, scanning, faxing, copying, sorting mail, answering/directing phone calls, and ensuring that top quality Bryson customer service is always delivered, etc.
- Responsible for assisting with general office tasks
- Responsible for renewing payroll and accounting client contracts and coordinating any upgrades in services as necessary. Assists the leadership and sales team with planning/implementing seasonal/annual initiatives, meet with clients as necessary to assist in the renewal of annual engagements, etc.
- Responsible for assuring BLF case leaders are informed of client files
- Follow the BATS and BLF paperless system and assure client private information is always protected throughout the office
- Other duties as assigned by BATS leader
CPA Accountant - Bookkeeper
Location: Remote
Description: Our Accountant- Bookkeeper is responsible for performing the accounting work necessary for our bookkeeping clients. This includes monthly data entry, gathering detailed information from our accounting clients in a diligent and customer-service oriented manner, reconciliations, cash flow statements, AP/AR statements, inventory statements, payroll tax deposits and returns, payroll processing, sales tax deposits and returns, QuickBooks set-up, QuickBooks trainings, estimated tax payment calculations, tax planning, tax return preparation, etc. The Bookkeeper must be driven to go the extra mile to take care of our ongoing bookkeeping clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure Write-Up team accurately and completely performs the data entry and reconciliation of accounts for our clients in QuickBooks
- Responsible for payroll tax deposits, returns, payroll processing, sales tax deposits, returns, estimated tax payments etc.
- Actively seeks new opportunities and develops new business from existing client files for BATS
- Meet with clients as necessary
- Responsible for various administrative tasks required from the sale of services to completion such as being the "go-to" person for Bryson staff to check the status of each accounting client's file, maintaining each accounting client's internal file checklist, ensuring that top quality Bryson customer service is being delivered at all times, assisting the leadership and sales team with planning/implementing seasonal/annual initiatives, assisting in the renewal of annual engagements, answering phone calls, etc.
Case Manager
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Description: A Case Manager (CM) serves on the Resolution Team alongside the Tax Professionals/Resolution Attorneys. A Case Manager guides cases from the hiring stage through the conclusion of resolution and operates as the primary point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a point of contact for the client from start to finish in the resolution files that CM is working
- Manage the client’s case management file – database, deadlines, and calendars – and update the database as needed
- Prepare, draft, and modify documents including correspondence, reports, memos, and emails
- Work closely with the Attorney to ensure timely/frequent updates are provided to the client (30 Day contacts) and coordinate with the Tax Professional to ensure the case is progressing toward resolution
- At the onset of each new file, the CM will work to obtain and file the Power of Attorney and the financial information necessary to keep the case on track for resolution
- Review each file periodically to ensure that we continue to work within the scope of our representation and identify any possible additional services needed for which an upgrade may be required
- At the Initial Discovery Phase of our process, the CM will interpret and synthesize the client’s financial information/transcripts and thereby assist the Tax Professional/Resolution Attorney in identifying resolution options. Specifically, the CM will pursue information essential to drafting and completing a Financial Information Statement such as an IRS Form 433. The CM will coordinate with a Tax Professional to ensure the IRS Form 433 is accurately completed
- At the conclusion of each case, the CM will revoke the Power of Attorney. The CM will also request a testimonial or a client satisfaction survey from the client
- As needed, a CM will perform other administrative tasks including scanning, faxing, copying, sorting mail, and answering phones
